Job summary

Kelso Industries seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate subcontractors on site for HVAC and other mechanical projects across multiple sites. The role requires managing costs, schedules, and client relationships to deliver quality workmanship.

Travel 40%+ with flexibility to work outside normal hours. Requires 5+ years in project management, a related Bachelor's degree (CM or mechanical), HVAC knowledge, and OSHA 30 is preferred and may be required on hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience required.
• Experience in construction management or a related field.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus and will be required upon hiring.
• Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., work in a construction environment with overhead reach and use ladders and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate work by subcontractors on site to meet schedules.
• Maintain client relationships while ensuring project profitability.
• Order materials/equipment, issue subcontracts, develop billings, manage RFIs and change orders, review submittals.
• Inspect the jobsite for contract compliance, workmanship, and safety.
• Coordinate with customers, owners, subcontractors and field staff and manage costs.
