Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate on-site works with subcontractors to meet schedules and quality standards in HVAC/mechanical projects. Travel is 40%+; strong client relations and profitability focus are required.

The successful candidate will oversee multi-faceted construction activities, coordinate materials, subcontracts, RFIs, and submittals, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management or equivalent.
• Experience in Construction Management or related field.
• B.S. in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• HVAC and piping systems knowledge.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus and will be required upon hiring.
• Strong time management and ability to multi-task.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
• Order materials/equipment, issue subcontracts, and manage RFIs and changes.
• Inspect jobsite for contract compliance, workmanship and safety.
• Establish cost-control centers for equipment, materials, labor and subcontracts.
• Communicate with customers and representatives; maintain client relationships.
• Travel up to 40%+ and flexibility to work outside hours.
