Job summary

This role is hands-on with real autonomy and collaboration with our pre-construction and production teams. Expect to manage two to four projects, blend ground-up builds with remodels around Lake Minnetonka communities, and lead site meetings with designers and clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing high-end residential construction, custom homes or major remodels.
• Deep knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, building codes and inspections.
• Strong command of project financials: budgets, purchase orders, changes, and cost tracking.
• Ability to read and coordinate detailed architectural/structural drawings and spot conflicts.
• Excellent collaboration with clients, architects and designers.

Responsibilities

• Budget and change order management with client honesty and accuracy.
• Site supervision and quality control on a daily basis.
• Trade partner and vendor management, scheduling, and scope adherence.
• Client, architect and designer communication as the primary point of contact during construction.
• Build and maintain a realistic construction schedule; manage long-lead items and deadlines.
• Coordinate municipal inspections and ensure code compliance across jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate project records and report project health regularly.
• Closeout and warranty handoff with a thorough punch process.
• Mentor field staff and junior PMs to strengthen the team.
