Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for single-family remodeling in Minneapolis, MN. This hands-on role manages projects from pre-construction to closeout, coordinating schedules, budgets, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality renovations on time.

The ideal candidate has 3-7+ years in residential construction, with strong communication skills and experience leading subcontractors. Local travel to job sites is required; on-site work schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in residential construction or remodeling project management.
• Strong knowledge of single-family renovation processes (kitchens, baths, additions, etc.)
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Excellent client-facing communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with project management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar is a plus)
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of single-family remodeling projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications and building codes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing consistent updates and managing expectations
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship
• Manage change orders, project documentation, and cost tracking
• Identify and proactively resolve project challenges to maintain schedule and budget
