Job summary

GBA is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Building Design in the Life Sciences group. The role covers client management, project planning, and cross-disciplinary leadership across design and construction phases. Travel to client sites and project locations is required, with remote work possible as needed.

You will guide projects, manage scope, schedule, and cost, and develop standardized PM processes for the GBA network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, construction management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in managing multi-discipline building design projects and project teams in relevant settings.
• PMP certification is optional but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Key client management including client maintenance, business development and supporting marketing program.
• Develop internal staff skills through training on project management fundamentals.
• Create long-term and short-term plans with milestones and deadlines.
• Identify and address issues related to project performance.
• Lead meetings with all disciplines and stakeholders related to the project.
• Delegate tasks to employees best positioned to complete them.
• Direct projects and project teams to ensure deliverables are met as agreed with the customer.
• Work with a versatile group of professionals to provide innovative design and startup solutions.
• Perform quality control on the project throughout duration to maintain standards.
