Job summary

GBA is seeking a Senior Process Architect to lead the programming and design of process-intensive life science facilities. You will coordinate across engineering, construction, and regulatory teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure compliance with complex GMP standards.

You will develop facility programming, space-planning solutions, and design concepts for projects that advance medicines and therapies. Collaboration, documentation, and client communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from NAAB-accredited program or related field with 6+ years of experience
• Licensed Architect or PE licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate client operational needs and regulatory requirements into facility programming and space planning solutions
• Lead coordination across engineering, construction, and regulatory disciplines to resolve design conflicts and ensure compliance
• Prepare design reports, narratives, and client presentations communicating rationale and impacts
• Participate in client meetings to present concepts and document feedback for integration
• Manage project administration including scheduling, scope tracking, and deliverable reviews
• Review work of junior staff and provide technical feedback for quality and consistency
• Develop facility programming recommendations and space-planning solutions based on workflow and regulatory needs
• Stay engaged with professional organizations and continuing education
