Job summary

SLS Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex real estate development and construction initiatives in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will manage schedules, budgets, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of relevant experience, a engineering/construction/business degree, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in real estate development, construction, or design.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related area strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Proficient in project management tools, project accounting, and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project progress and identify schedule, cost, quality, and operational risks.
• Review contractor schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports for compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in construction and coordination meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Track procurement activities and long-lead equipment to support project milestones and critical path requirements.
• Assist in managing project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and reporting deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project safety standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
• Support the continuous improvement of project management processes, procedures, and best practices.

Compensation Range: $160K - $190K
