Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate large-scale projects in the Kansas City area. You will oversee Field Engineers and Technicians, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.

You will mentor junior staff, develop project management processes, and contribute to Vertiv's strategic priorities. The role requires travel and strong NEC/OSHA/NFPA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code and industry standards such as OSHA and NFPA.
• Proficient with MS Word, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel as required.
• Requires clear verbal and written communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine time frame, funding, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Confers with managers to outline work plans and assign duties and authority.
• Establishes plans and staffing for each project phase; assigns personnel.
• Directs project execution to meet schedule and budget goals.
• Reviews status reports and adjusts schedules as needed; prepares formal project reports.
