Job summary

Entergy in New Orleans, LA, seeks an experienced Project Manager for large-scale electrical transmission projects. You will lead project teams from planning through turnover, ensuring safety, cost control, and schedule adherence.

Collaboration with Contractors, Vendors, and Finance is essential to meet Entergy standards and deliverables. Requires 8+ years in PM/Construction Mgmt within the electric utility sector; PMP preferred; strong communication and leadership skills are a must; relocation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field OR 4 years of equivalent/related work experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred: Advanced Degree - MBA or master’s in engineering, Construction, Project Management.

Responsibilities

Defines the project organization structure and assigns skilled individuals to the project team.
Coordinates with functional departments to meet corporate standards and guidelines.
Oversees project team activities and navigates Entergy’s Stage Gate process to meet deliverables.
Develops and maintains the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
Ensures project controls manage scope, schedule, quality, cost, cash flow, and risk.
