Job summary

Entergy in Louisiana-New Orleans seeks a Manager, Engineering & Tech Svcs to lead the Engineering & Technical Services team within the PMO. You will guide engineers across FEED through turnover, translating business cases into clear design standards and acceptance criteria.

You will champion Stage-Gate processes, manage contracts and vendor relationships, and ensure safety, quality, cost and schedule across projects. PE and 8+ years in power/utility preferred; 5+ years in PMO leadership required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; MBA/MS preferred.
• PE certification preferred; 8+ years engineering exp. in power/utility.
• 5+ years in project/operations management impacting safety, cost, schedule, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team with clear objectives.
• Govern technical standards, specifications, and QA for generation projects.
• Provide lifecycle governance across design, procurement, construction, and turnover.
• Coordinate with Project Development to define scope and secure decision documents.
• Act as Contract Manager for engineering contracts; monitor KPIs and vendor performance.
• Ensure alignment of scope, budget, schedule, risk, and resources with PMO.
