Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Atlanta operations based in Smyrna, GA. This role oversees metal stud framing/drywall and acoustical ceilings, coordinating with field staff and subs to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in interior commercial construction management, strong estimating/PM skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of interior commercial construction management experience.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and managing specialty scopes.
• Experience in metal stud framing/drywall, acoustical ceilings and specialty (cladding, ceilings, etc.).
• Ability to diagnose key information, identify profitability risks, and navigate projects to success.
• Strong reading of specifications and drawings; excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans and measures for the branch and projects.
• Follow PCI safety guidelines; create and manage punch lists proactively.
• Understand QA/QC program; ensure quality control on projects.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate building systems and maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Perform takeoffs to verify estimates and manage material orders and change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules; coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Manage labor; support subcontractor buyout, contracts, and sequencing.
• Complete job cost control via FAWs on assigned projects.
• Support the branch through customer relations and the Customer Alignment Plan.
