Job summary

Wallace Montgomery seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee multi-disciplinary, alternative delivery projects as an Owner's Representative where needed. You will supervise engineers, planners, scientists, and subconsultants, and manage client communications within the owner's governance structure.

Ideal candidates have a BS degree, a Virginia PE license or ability to obtain one, and 10+ years of experience, including management and design-build exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Professional Engineer license with Virginia licensure or the ability to obtain.
• 10 years minimum experience, including 2 years in management.
• Experience with design-build or progressive design-build; management experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a public-sector owner or as owner's representative with scope, budget, schedule, risk, and stakeholder coordination.
• Transit, multimodal facilities, or complex infrastructure experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of multiple technical professionals, project teams and subconsultants.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day owner contact and lead program delivery within the owner's governance structure.
• Guide reviews, permits, procurement support, and construction-phase issues; evaluate changes and obtain decisions.
• Maintain integrated schedules, budget forecasts, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Provide training and guidance to others; mentor rising professionals.
• Promote the firm's expertise and liaison with clients to establish confidence and trust.
