Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager with an Industrial Water background to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex water projects, oversee proposals and related business development, and collaborate with clients to deliver safe, reliable solutions. The role offers flexible, remote-friendly work arrangements and opportunities for growth across our North Central Water organization.

Primary location: Chicago; Other location: Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or ability to achieve within 1 year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team of design professionals and technicians.
• Manage projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop proposals and participate in client meetings and interviews.
• Coordinate scope, estimates, and division of responsibility matrices.
• Collaborate with multiple business lines to develop opportunities.
• Mentor staff and supervise high-performing project teams.
• Engage with clients and management on project status and budgets.
