Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager with an Industrial Water background to support project delivery and business development in our Industrial Water practice. You will collaborate with engineers, environmental specialists, and management to ensure safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across diverse projects.

The role emphasizes seller-doer responsibilities, proposal development, and client relationship building within a culture that values diversity and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience.
• License: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• PMP or ability to achieve within 1 year of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project team of design professionals and technicians.
• Management of projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform business development tasks and collaborate to increase project wins and develop client relationships.
• Interact with clients and management regarding scope, schedule, and budget.
• Apply and share experience/knowledge of design expertise.
