Senior Project Manager – Industrial Construction Leader

Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major construction initiatives in Eunice, New Mexico. You will oversee stakeholders, schedules, governance, and cost control across regulated facilities, ensuring design standards are applied and risks are managed.

The role requires 15+ years of PM experience, PMP certification, and the ability to operate independently. On-site work in Eunice is expected, with travel as needed to support critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience, preferably in Nuclear, Energy, Chemical, Data Center or other highly-regulated Industrial Facilities
• PMP certification required
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycle ownership with assigned budgets
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget development and cost control
• Direct experience working in highly regulated environments
• Superior communication skills with senior project management peers and technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects
• Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips
• Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects
• Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required
• Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure design standards are applied correctly
• Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
• Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
• Forecast and update key project milestones
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field
• Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance
• Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs
• Client management – develop excellent relationships with Clients to maximize opportunities
• Strategic thinking and knowledge management to capture learnings
• Process improvement to enhance internal systems
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role
