Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a Project Manager III to lead cross-functional projects with high complexity. You will ensure requirements are met, deliverables completed on schedule and within budget, and mentor other team members.

The role requires coordinating with stakeholders, managing risks, and maintaining project health across concurrent initiatives, while driving continuous process improvements in project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years demonstrated project management experience and project implementation.
• Experience with distributed project teams required.
• Excellent prioritization and organization skills, especially the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all staff levels in the company and with clients.
• Able to work extended hours when needed to help meet project deadlines.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, and listening skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Experience working in a fast paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or equivalent ERP system.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish scope and detailed requirements for the project.
• Identify and manage issues, risks and changes.
• Communicate and follow-up regularly with team members to ensure tasks are completed according to plans.
• Develop project plans for schedule, resources, and budget.
• Monitor and track progress against plans.
• Report status to project stakeholders through various formal and informal channels.
• Communicate effectively with project team members, management, and stakeholders.
• Create status reports on a regular basis.
• Engage in continuous improvement of PM processes and standards.
• Monitor hours and costs against estimates and budget.
• Monitor and report on the project budget.
