Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer III to plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from conception through completion. You will collaborate with design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Structural Engineering with 8+ years of engineering experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

BS degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
8+ years of engineering experience.
Experience interfacing with marketing, sales, manufacturing, and vendors regarding solution of product problems and translation of customer requirements into product specifications.
Ability to demonstrate creativity and analytical engineering skills in the application of technologies to new projects.
Ability to overcome obstacles, to achieve goals and adapt to a changing environment.
Ability to travel, as required.
Experience using MS Office, Excel, and other normal business software.
Proficient in AutoCAD (2-D and 3-D).

Responsibilities

Analyzes project specifications and performance requirements to determine the appropriate equipment design.
Provides engineering and technical support to the Project Management team on Original Equipment projects.
Provides technical support to the Aftermarket team as needed.
Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques.
Confers with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop suitable product designs.
Creates and reviews technical datasheets (regular and ISF formats).
