Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Project Manager I to lead and coordinate project teams across engineering, controls, and operations. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and communications while interfacing with multiple internal and external groups.

The role operates in a hybrid model with three days per week in office/onsite; relocation assistance may be available. Qualifications include associate or bachelor’s degree, and PMI/PMI-related certifications such as PMP or CAPM.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience across multiple project phases.
• Strong leadership and ability to coordinate diverse teams.
• PMI certifications or equivalent credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, staff, and lead project teams across internal and external groups.
• Provide oversight, delegation, and coordination with functional managers.
• Establish communications among all project stakeholders and management.
• Plan, track, and report project status with PMCoE standards.
• Drive project planning, scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
