Job summary

Duke Energy in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Manager I/II to lead electrical engineering and project management across energy services for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. You will develop concepts, estimates, and contracts while ensuring safety standards are met and project objectives are achieved.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, design engineering for low/medium voltage infrastructure, standby generation, and power quality.

Qualifications

Commercial project engineering experience in low and medium voltage electrical systems and backup power systems is essential.
Demonstrates understanding of electrical infrastructure and distributed generation design processes.
Demonstrated ability to assume total project responsibilities including quality assurance, customer interface, internal reporting, and financial evaluation.
Demonstrated ability to perform work in compliance with applicable safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Solution Development - engage with large industrial/commercial customers to identify issues and provide cost-effective solutions within budget.
Engineering Solutions - design innovative solutions, support pricing and contracting, and assist in commissioning plans.
Standards Management - develop and maintain equipment specifications meeting standard designs and safety standards.
