Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee multiple high-profile tenant-improvement projects for a leading client. The role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA, with direct client interaction and a heavy emphasis on schedule, scope, and cost management.

You will coordinate project teams and supervise complex activities across design, procurement, and construction. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in project management, a Bachelor's in construction/engineering, and certifications such as CCM

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction, CM, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 6+ years in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
• Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
• Manage the on-site project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
• Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s goals to all project team members.
• Develop action plans that guide the project team from the PM Plan onward.
• Coordinate with cost management for cost estimates, cost studies, and budget reconciliation.
• Oversee entitlement processes for unoccupied construction sites.
• Lead design management, procurement strategies, construction, fit-out, and closeout.
