Job summary

Our Customer, a global professional services firm, seeks a Senior Project Manager for an ~18-month hybrid assignment in Urbandale, IA. The role focuses on leading major change initiatives, coordinating multi-location teams, and delivering complex programs across people, process, technology, and real estate.

Reporting to the Project Lead, you will create business cases, assessments, and detailed project plans, presenting to Finance leadership. Long-term commitment to the assignment is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading major change initiatives and large-scale project delivery.
• Strong program and project management capabilities across multiple workstreams.
• Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and resources.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with senior leadership.
• Strong strategic planning and documentation skills.
• Strong risk management, compliance, and governance experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support key workstreams within a broader program across people, process, technology, and real estate.
• Coordinate resources across locations and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Drive objectives to completion and manage change initiatives.
• Escalate risk and communicate impacts to management; maintain project controls.
• Develop strategic documents and present updates to senior leadership.
• Facilitate problem solving and decision making on project items.
• Maintain governance, risk, and compliance across assigned programs.
