Harris & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Community Development + Housing team in delivering complex housing and development projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality while guiding client relationships and stakeholder engagement.

You will shape project strategy, mentor staff, contribute to business development, and oversee housing development and financial advisory services, including affordable housing underwriting and feasibility analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Real Estate, Housing, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in community development and housing consulting.
• Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and teams.
• Strong executive-level communication skills for senior staff and officials.
• Advanced analytical and writing skills with strong Excel proficiency.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within California.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects from initiation through completion with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Serve as the primary client relationship manager with strategic guidance and clear communication.
• Shape project strategy and recommend innovative approaches to achieve client objectives.
• Direct, review, and approve all project deliverables to ensure high standards.
• Lead client meetings, public outreach, and presentations to officials and stakeholders.
• Contribute to firm growth through business development activities and proposal leadership.
• Manage housing development and financial advisory services, including underwriting and feasibility analysis.
• Contribute to housing elements, general plan elements, and related policy efforts.
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering growth and collaboration.
