Whitaker Construction in Magna, Utah is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil projects from planning to closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and safety while coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and owners to deliver on time and within scope.

The role requires 7–10 years in underground utilities and heavy civil construction, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong leadership, communication, and schedule-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction-related field.
• 7–10 years of Project Manager experience in underground utilities and heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and field concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process and manage budget and cash flow.
• Develop, manage, and update project schedules and staffing plans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and client representatives.
• Report changes, manage change orders, and ensure contract compliance.
• Ensure permits, safety procedures, and on-site quality controls.
