Job summary

Whitaker Construction in Utah is seeking an Area Manager to direct project managers and oversee region operations, P&L results, safety, and customer relationships. You will provide day-to-day leadership and align projects with company goals.

You will guide contract processes, manage subcontracting and change orders, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with senior leadership to grow the business across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in construction management.
• Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management degree or equivalent.
• Previous area leadership with P/L responsibility.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and contracts.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure revenue and profit targets are met.
• Lead end-to-end contract processes.
• Develop strategies for subcontract and change order negotiations.
