Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to lead delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects in Utah. The role offers hands-on field exposure and collaboration with design-build teams, with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across utilities and civil sites.

Qualified candidates have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree and 3-5+ years in heavy civil construction, DOT or energy infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or related infrastructure projects.
• Experience with DOT, transportation, utilities, water, mining, or site development projects.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout on heavy civil projects.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track quantities, production, and costs to ensure alignment with budgets and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including scope, performance, and cost tracking.
• Participate in project meetings with owners, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with scheduling, procurement, and project controls.
