Job summary

KingRecruitingServices seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from concept to completion, including underground utilities and rock-heavy sitework. You will ensure on-time, on-budget, and safely executed outcomes.

Responsibilities include client and subcontractor meetings, reviewing plans, developing site plans, coordinating permits, and driving the overall project schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret grading and utility plans, specs, and geotechnical data.
• Knowledge of standard construction equipment for earthwork and site utilities.
• Extensive knowledge of safety practices, equipment maintenance, and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead diverse crews and maintain harmony on site.

Responsibilities

• Attend client and subcontractor meetings to understand project requirements.
• Compare budget and bid documents for alignment with project scope.
• Develop site-specific project plans and schedules.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installation to design intent.
• Lead subcontractors and supervision on the site.
• Obtain permits and licenses as required for the project.
• Drive overall project schedule and anticipate issues.
• Lead field superintendents and coordinate with stakeholders.
