Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction in Nashville. The role requires directing projects from concept to completion, with emphasis on safety, budget control, and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with clients, subs, and internal teams to ensure compliance with design intent and contract documents. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy civil PM experience, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to read grading and utility plans and geotechnical information.
• Knowledge of earthwork equipment and site utility projects.
• Extensive knowledge of safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong math aptitude and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend client and subcontractor meetings to understand project requirements.
• Compare budget and bid documents to ensure alignment.
• Develop site-specific project plans and schedules.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installations for design intent.
• Lead subcontractors and provide on-site supervision.
• Obtain permits and licenses as required for projects.
• Develop and manage overall project schedule and milestones.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and assess cut/fill for projects.
• Lead Field Supervisors on assigned projects.
