Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction in Nashville, TN. The role involves managing civil projects from concept to completion, with emphasis on underground utilities, earthwork, schedules, budgets, and safety.

You will attend client meetings, review bids, develop site plans, inspect shop drawings, and lead field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in accordance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret grading and utility plans, specs, geotechnical data.
• Strong math aptitude and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to lead crews and maintain harmony on site.

Responsibilities

• Attend client/sub meetings to capture project requirements.
• Compare budget and bid documents for alignment and feasibility.
• Develop site-specific project plans and schedules.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installation per design intent.
• Lead subcontractors and site supervision; manage permits and access.
• Oversee overall project health, safety, cost, and timeline.
