Job summary

Workforce Recruiter seeks an experienced Project Manager for heavy civil construction in Nashville. You will manage civil projects from concept to completion, coordinating with clients and subs, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule adherence on site.

The role requires strong communication, proven leadership, and deep knowledge of earthwork and utilities. Opportunity includes full scope oversight and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management.
• Ability to read grading and utility plans.
• Knowledge of earthwork equipment and site utilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safety.
• Solid math skills and creative problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Attend client and subcontractor meetings to capture project requirements.
• Compare budgets and bids for alignment with contracts.
• Develop site-specific project plans.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installations.
• Lead subcontractors and supervision on site.
• Obtain permits and licenses as needed.
• Develop and manage the overall project schedule.
• Anticipate problems and proactively solve them.
• Understand quantity take-offs and evaluate cut/fill.
• Lead field superintendents on projects.
