Job summary

SAGE Fence is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support civil construction and fencing projects in the Cleveland/Akron area. The ideal candidate will review plans and specifications and coordinate with owners, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

The role requires 5–10 years in heavy civil construction or fencing, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, fencing, or related field.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review construction plans and specs.
• Experience reviewing contracts and understanding project scope and risks.
• Familiarity with project billing, change orders, RFIs, and closeout docs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, and scope to understand requirements.
• Prepare, price, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation.
• Coordinate project billing, progress billing, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with field leadership, vendors, contractors, clients, and internal teams to maintain schedules and budgets.
