Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction efforts and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers and contractors. The role emphasizes governance, cost control, and timely delivery across multiple projects.

You will drive best practices, manage interfaces with suppliers, and ensure effective reporting while fostering strong client relationships and strategic outcomes for projects in the real estate and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong organizational and management skills; the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
  • Experience managing large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
  • Analyze and track critical milestones to avoid schedule slips.
  • Ensure governance, processes and systems are used.
  • Apply best practices on all projects.
  • Produce formal status reports and other required reports.
  • Monitor multiple projects to ensure design standards are applied.
  • Manage interface between suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Facilitate project information flow through meetings and written communications.
  • Forecast and update key milestones.
  • Provide cost control, value engineering, constructability guidance as needed.
  • Independent review of status, drawings, timelines and costs.
  • Develop excellent client relationships to maximize opportunities.
  • Strategic thinking and knowledge capture.
  • Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.

Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required.
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are applied correctly.
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Forecast and update key project milestones.
  • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
  • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers.
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinking - provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives.
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project are captured.
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

The salary range for this full-time role is $155,000 - $175,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
