Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale commercial construction projects. The role requires coordinating stakeholders, monitoring milestones and ensuring governance and best practices across domestic projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office tools. On-site presence is required, with client needs potentially altering remote work requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and management skills with the ability to work with a broad team.
  • Effective presentation skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction PM tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  • Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
  • Verify that project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
  • Ensure best practices are applied on all projects.
  • Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
  • Monitor multiple construction projects to ensure design standards are applied correctly.
  • Manage interface between suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Facilitate flow of project information via meetings and written communications.
  • Forecast and update key project milestones.
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, GCs and regional stakeholders.
  • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
  • Provide cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance when required.
  • Conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawings, timelines and costs.

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale commerical construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
  • Forecast and update key project milestones
  • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field
  • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities
  • Strategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Strong communication skills.

The base salary range for this role is $140K-$150K. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the base salary for this position at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package
