Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a $700M+ correctional facility project along the Gulf Coast (Alabama/Florida).

This highly complex, multi-building program spans 25+ buildings and over 700,000 square feet, with a three-year construction horizon and opportunities to lead future major projects. You will oversee project leadership, manage schedule, budget, safety, quality, and risk, mentor a large team, and collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial/institutional construction experience.
• Experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably $500M+.
• Extensive experience with prison/detention/correctional or secure facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contracts, risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level leadership for a $700M+ correctional project.
• Oversee operations, financial performance, cost control, scheduling, safety, quality, and risk.
• Mentor a large project team including PMs, superintendents, and safety/quality staff.
• Establish execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Monitor finances, identify risks and cost impacts, and manage change.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and leadership.
• Ensure milestones, contractual requirements, and safety objectives are achieved.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract administration, and closeout activities.
• Utilize Primavera P6 or comparable scheduling software to manage schedules.
