Job summary

KNAPP North America is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the United States to oversee multiple high-value projects within intralogistics and automation. The role requires coordinating with Knapp resources, customers, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, risk mitigation, and contract compliance.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams across Installation, Commissioning, IT, and Product groups, with travel up to 50% and a focus on delivering complex solutions while

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Travel up to 50% (quarterly international travel)
• Professional office etiquette is required at all times
• Physical requirements may include lifting 50-100 pounds and extended standing or walking

Responsibilities

• Ensure all required communication between project stakeholders, Knapp resources, suppliers, etc., occurs in a timely manner with necessary detail.
• Steer all project related activities to meet schedule and budget targets.
• Produce, distribute, and file documentation to meet contractual requirements and minimize risk.
• Create, maintain, and track project schedules using critical path methodology.
• Maintain project budget forecast in coordination with Project Controlling.
• Coordinate change orders, RFQs, and subcontracts in collaboration with Procurement and Final Engineering.
• Manage customer contracts and coordinate with internal teams (Installation, Commissioning, Product).
• Drive resolution of all project-related open issues and mentor junior project staff when needed.
