Job summary

NORESCO, an OPTERRA Company, seeks a Project Manager for its Federal and Energy Services teams to manage campus mechanical/electrical systems and energy infrastructure, overseeing bids, scheduling, safety, and contract compliance.

You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure quality and timely delivery across diverse locations. Travel up to 50% and federal security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering fields or Navy Nuclear Power background.
• Contractor licenses required.
• Experience with installation and commissioning of steam distribution and other mechanical, electrical or building systems.
• Willing to travel a minimum of 50% during work week.
• Ability to manage safety, schedules, budgets and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage bid process and subcontractor bids.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare daily construction reports and monitor progress.
• Ensure closeout and O&M documents meet NORESCO requirements.
• Generate meeting minutes and contract correspondence.
• Develop and manage project schedules; supervise daily construction activities.
• Interface with customers and coordinate subcontractor access.
• Oversee safety plans and compliance on site.
• Maintain customer satisfaction; onsite commissioning.
