Job summary

Lehman-Roberts Company, a Granite Company, seeks a seasoned construction leader to direct projects up to $15 million. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications while guiding the estimating and controls teams to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or related field with 3–5 years in heavy civil and paving, and a proven track record of safe, on‑time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of heavy civil paving, underground, concrete and grading practices.
• Understanding of union agreements and prevailing wage issues.
• Ability to perform in high production environments and lead teams.
• Strong decision‑making and leadership abilities.
• Excellent supervisory communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to accuracy in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects up to $15 million.
• Lead estimating for asphalt paving projects: plans, specs, quantity takeoffs, materials pricing, risk evaluation and bid development.
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to establish budgets and schedules.
• Manage resources with project team to meet timelines and profitability.
• Support bid reviews and project feasibility analyses with the estimating team.
• Foster safe, efficient project execution and strong client relationships.
