Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Commercial Paving Project Manager & Estimator to lead bids and manage projects from concept to closeout. You will analyze blueprints, develop cost estimates, and drive client relationships while coordinating with the lead estimator and construction teams.

The role demands five+ years in paving/estimation, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid, ViewPoint, Primavera, and Trimble.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to read blueprints, specs, and proposals.
• Experience estimating self-performed work and managing bids.
• Proven track record in client engagement and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define scope by analyzing blueprints, specs, proposals, and site conditions.
• Create detailed estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and production.
• Cultivate new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate subcontractor quotes.
• Bid on multiple projects concurrently with strong organization.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and stakeholders on requirements.
• Visit sites regularly to monitor progress and coordinate resources.
• Lead projects, ensure safety, update schedules, and report progress.
• Review costs daily/weekly/monthly with crews and manage change orders.
• Communicate with owners and prime contractors to exceed expectations.
