Job summary

Lehman-Roberts Company, a Granite Company, is seeking an experienced construction estimator/engineer to lead bidding and planning for asphalt paving projects across the region.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, analyzing plans and specs, performing quantity takeoffs, pricing materials, evaluating risk, and developing competitive bids that align with company strategy while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field preferred.
• 4+ years in construction estimating support, engineering or field support.
• Strong MS Office,Take-off and scheduling software skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule and cost.
• Lead the estimating effort for asphalt paving projects with quantity takeoffs and bid development.
• Develop and maintain paving project schedules to meet deadlines and budget.
• Oversee project engineering assignments and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Provide technical support in planning, quality control and constructability reviews.
• Represent company in client meetings and maintain project reporting logs.
• Supervise and mentor project staff to meet standards.
