Job summary

Walbridge is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale equipment installations across automotive manufacturing, primary metals and industrial facilities. You will drive projects from $1M to $50M, shaping strategy, plans and budgets while assembling delivery teams for successful initiation, planning, execution and closure.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure safety and compliance, and oversee project delivery with a focus on quality, risk reduction and on-time

Qualifications

• 7+ years manufacturing process equipment installation experience.
• 3+ years of management experience in equipment installation.
• Experience managing self-perform industrial projects of at least $1M.
• Ability to travel 70% and hold US driver’s license and passport.
• Proven ability to lead project teams from award to close-out.

Responsibilities

• Project Scope Management: estimate and manage scope changes, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety, and progress monitoring.
• Performance Monitoring: track progress using metrics and adjust plans.
• Quality Assurance: ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Innovation and Improvement: identify opportunities to optimize processes and adopt new tech.
• Project Oversight: oversee construction to align with goals (design, budget, schedule).
• Team Leadership: lead crews and subcontractors, oversee planning and logistics.
• Contract & Change Management: manage contract requirements and changes; approve docs.
• Collaboration & Communication: be primary contact for clients, subs, stakeholders.
• Compliance & Documentation: ensure adherence to policies and maintain records.
• Union Relations (If Applicable): assist with jurisdictional disputes and negotiations.
• Safety & Risk Management: support safety programs and protocols.
