Job summary

Walbridge seeks a Project Manager to lead large-scale equipment installations for automotive manufacturing, primary metals and industrial facilities across the United States. You may be located anywhere in the US, with travel to client projects on a long-term basis (70%+).

You will develop project strategies, plans and budgets; assemble delivery teams with the right qualifications; and drive initiation, planning, execution and closure with cross-functional collaboration, ensuring safety, quality

Qualifications

• 7+ years manufacturing process equipment installation experience.
• 3+ years of management experience specific to equipment installation.
• Experience managing self-perform industrial projects of at least $1MM.
• Experience leading project teams from contract award to close-out.

Responsibilities

• Project Scope Management: estimate and manage scope changes, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, safety, and progress monitoring.
• Performance Monitoring: track progress with metrics and adjust plans to evolving requirements.
• Quality Assurance: ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Innovation and Improvement: identify opportunities to optimize processes and adopt new technologies.
• Project Oversight: oversee construction ensuring design, budget, and schedule alignment with goals.
• Team Leadership: lead crews and subcontractors, supporting planning, scheduling, logistics, and engineering.
• Contract & Change Management: manage contract requirements, oversee changes, and approve documentation.
• Collaboration & Communication: be the primary client/subcontractor/stakeholder liaison.
• Compliance & Documentation: ensure policy compliance and maintain project records.
• Safety & Risk Management: support safety programs and enforce protocols.
