Job summary

Walbridge is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale equipment installations for automotive, metals, and industrial facilities across the United States. The role encompasses end-to-end project leadership, from planning through closure, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate will manage self-perform industrial projects valued up to $50 million, assemble delivery teams, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing process equipment installation experience.
• 3+ years of management experience in equipment installation.
• Experience managing self-perform industrial projects valued from $1M+.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and passport; travel ~70%.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and manage scope changes, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, and safety.
• Track progress with metrics and adjust plans to evolving requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to optimize processes and introduce new technologies.
• Oversee construction to align with budget, schedule, and design goals.
• Lead crews and subcontractors, supporting planning and logistics.
• Manage contracts, changes, and project documentation.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate project records and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist with union-related activities where applicable.
• Support safety program implementation and risk management.
