Job summary
Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Signal Hill, Pleasant Hill, or Fullerton, CA. You will lead a diverse team of scientists and engineers, manage projects in brownfields redevelopment, groundwater/soil characterization, remediation, and water resources.
Ideal candidates hold a BS in Environmental Science, 8+ years in the field, strong technical writing, and business development experience.
Qualifications
- BS in Environmental Science or related field.
- 8+ years of environmental/remediation experience with technical writing, oversight, PM, business development, and staff management.
- Experience with oil & gas, manufacturing, utilities, landfills, and chlorinated solvent sites preferred.
- Proven track record in business development and project management.
- Strong technical writing, multitasking, safety awareness.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead on cumulative project total of $2M to $3M annually.
- Contribute to successful business development of new clients and projects >$500K annually.
- Write and review technical reports and proposals.
- Assist with project management activities.
- Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
- Actively develop your own career growth.
