Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a dynamic Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects in Pleasant Hill, CA. The role requires strong technical leadership, client management, and mentorship of staff across diverse teams.

You will drive project scopes, schedules, budgets, and health & safety plans, while coordinating with clients, regulators, and vendors.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field.
• 12+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• 7+ years managing complex environmental investigation/remediation projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects from proposal through closure.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, work plans, and health and safety plans.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of geologists, engineers, hydrogeologists, risk assessors, and environmental scientists.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilization, and forecasting.
• Coordinate subcontractors, laboratories, drilling contractors, and remediation vendors.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
