Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Lead Senior Project Manager to support the Site Investigation & Remediation (SIR) Business Line across Texas offices including Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, and El Paso. You will lead environmental projects, mentor junior staff, and expand the client portfolio while ensuring technical quality and adherence to schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in environmental consulting with PE/PG or Texas registration and a track record of growing client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Texas registration preferred; PG or PE.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible environmental experience.
• Experience delivering environmental consulting to industrial, mining, energy, and government clients.
• Proven ability to grow client portfolios and develop opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations including TRRP.
• Proven site investigations, remediation, field management, and sampling program experience.
• Project management oversight of deliverables, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new clients for WSP’s environmental business.
• Manage projects involving site characterization, remediation design, and compliance with regulations.
• Perform field work including soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, and groundwater sampling with subcontractors.
• Analyze data and prepare reports; recommend remedial solutions.
• Provide technical review to ensure regulatory and contract compliance.
• Travel within Texas and occasional travel to western mountain states; minimal overnight travel.
• Mentor and train junior staff and coordinate project teams for quality deliverables.
• Support business development and proposal preparation with innovative approaches and pricing.
