WSP USA is seeking a Lead Senior Project Manager to support the Site Investigation & Remediation (SIR) Business Line across Texas offices including Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, and El Paso. The role offers leadership on complex environmental projects and mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• PG or PE required (Texas registration preferred).
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience.
• Strong background providing environmental consulting services to industrial/commercial, mining, energy, and government clients.
• Proven experience with growing existing client portfolios and developing new client opportunities.
• Demonstrated expertise with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including TRRP.
• Proven experience with environmental site investigations, remediation, field management, and sampling programs.
• Project management experience including oversight of deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with standard software tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel primarily within Texas with occasional travel to western mountain states; minimal overnight travel.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new clients for WSP’s environmental business through internal and external networking.
• Manage environmental projects involving site characterization, remedial design, and environmental compliance, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved.
• Perform field work for site characterization and remediation projects, including oversight of subcontractors and sampling of soil, soil vapor, sediment, surface water, and groundwater.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting for environmental project tasks with minimal supervision; recommend remedial solutions using accepted scientific and engineering practices.
• Provide technical review to ensure compliance with environmental laws, company standards, contract requirements, and specifications.
• Travel to project sites primarily within Texas and occasionally across the mountain states of the West; minimal overnight travel.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and high‑quality service delivery.
• Mentor and train junior staff, supporting their professional development and preparing project teams for expanded responsibilities.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, ensuring the technical quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate and participate in technical discussions with internal teams.
• Support business development efforts in the public and private sectors.
• Manage proposal preparation, including innovative technical approaches, competitive pricing and client presentations.
• Manage technical, budgetary, and schedule performance to achieve client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making in accordance with WSP’s Code of Conduct and company policies.
