Murphy is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead HV Transmission & Distribution schemes as part of the Great Grid partnership. The project mobilisation begins mid-2027 with on-site teams in and around Colchester and Braintree, moving to Norwich to Tilbury under the GGP framework.

You will be accountable for delivery, contract programmes, cost control and stakeholder management across multi‑discipline teams, reporting to the Project Director and protecting margin.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering HV Transmission & Distribution or major civils projects.
• Experience within a Project Managerial role.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to develop close working relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Responsabilités

• Be fully accountable for delivering projects safely, on time and to budget.
• Lead and coordinate multi-discipline project delivery and contract programmes.
• Set project standards and ensure requirements are identified and delivered.
• Line-manage Project, Construction Site and Engineering Managers.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Manage resources, materials and operating plans to support on-site delivery.
• Oversee commercial performance including gross margin and cost control.
