Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking a career-level Senior Project Manager to lead an advanced energy initiative in Oakland, CA.

The role drives multi-year strategies for an Alpha Project in an Innovation Accelerator framework, serving as the primary contact for high-visibility deliverables through 2027. Responsibilities include strategy execution, schedule management, budget/PMO compliance, vendor coordination, risk mitigation, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years PM/controls/engineering/construction in the utility sector, OR 9+ years outside the utility sector.
• PMP certification strongly desired.
• Direct experience with electric utilities, grid modernization, or energy/electric industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project strategy for multi-year initiatives.
• Manage workstreams, detailed plans, schedules, costs, resources, contingencies, and communication plans.
• Oversee budget tracking, financial reporting, and PMO governance.
• Coordinate vendor tasks and maintain status communication across internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans.
• Facilitate operating reviews (DOR/WOR/MOR) and ensure thorough project documentation.
