Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in the HV Dead Tank, Live Tank, and PASS breaker portfolio.

You will drive end-to-end execution, coordinating engineering, supply chain, finance, and field teams to deliver safely, on time, and within scope, with a strong customer focus. The role requires 5+ years of project execution experience in energy environments, exceptional stakeholder management, and a PMP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project execution experience in industrial or energy environments.
• Strong ability to lead, influence, and align diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Self-directed with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and Power BI experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution for assigned breaker projects.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, finance, and execution.
• Review contracts, terms, and conditions to support project success.
• Prepare and maintain risk and opportunity management plans.
• Track material shipments, site receipts, and key milestones.
• Manage change requests and secure required approvals.
• Oversee project handover, documentation, and commercial closure.
• Act as the primary customer contact and lead regular progress reviews.
