Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile projects in Maryland Heights, MO. You will own client relationships, coordinate with sales and vendors, and ensure timely communication and accurate billing throughout each project lifecycle.

The role requires strong product knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage schedules, pricing, and delivery while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quotation, project management, or customer service experience.
• Experience in electrical distribution industry preferred.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of high profile/complex projects that require a high level of product knowledge.
• Communicate to the customer, expedite OS&Ds (over, short & damaged) and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Read through all Purchase Orders to understand requirements and ensure terms are correct.
• Work with sales and vendors to obtain additional margin when possible.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers and sales teams on pricing and order placement, claims and returns to meet expectations.
• Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and satisfaction.
• Identify pricing advantages and substitution opportunities to improve profitability.
• Manage delivery schedule, product quality, information updates and back charge.
• Seek alternative methods to deliver the project on time and within budget.
• Provide timely price quotations, requotes, and proposals.
• Deepen customer relationships that may require on-site visits.
