Job summary

ESS Metron in Denver is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering custom power distribution projects from kickoff to shipment. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and operations to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

You will drive risk management, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement in workflows and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, manufacturing, power distribution, or related field.
• PMI PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Understanding of basic power distribution systems and electrical manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional team management.
• Excellent interpersonal and executive-level reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, urgency, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Champion a Safety First culture across all project teams.
• Define and manage scope, schedules, budgets, and milestones for on-time delivery.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; make decisions on priorities.
• Serve as primary contact for internal departments, customers, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership.
• Adjust plans, resources, and timelines as requirements evolve.
• Drive continuous improvement in workflows and processes.
